FAQ

We are the chandler bings of the world!

Don't worry about this! It's common that couples aren't massive fans of being photographed! My main job is to make you guys feel comfortable in front of the camera plus pretty much all my shots are natural any way! But I'll make sure you won't feel awkward being photographed!

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Aberdeen, Scotland and will travel wherever you need me! I've photographed in Canada before!

When will we get our photos?

I'll have them to you within 6-8 weeks after your wedding, sooner if I can! But I can often have 4/5 weddings to edit in a que!

How many pictures will we receive?

At least 500 for a full day

Can we meet before booking?

Yes please! I can meet you in person for a coffee or some beers! Or alternatively I'd be more than happy to FaceTime or Skype!

how do we book and how do we pay?

I take a £300 booking fee and there are terms and conditions to sign too. 50% of your remainder is due 6 months before your wedding and 50% of the remainder is due 28 days before your wedding.

Do you do group photos?

Yes! 8-10 group photos of your immediate family! This could take 20-30 mins depending on the cooperation of your guests!

How long will you be there?

I can be there from bridal prep to the dancing depending on what you want!

what if it's a typical Scottish day?

So what if it rains, snows, blas a hooley, is sunny, there's a tornado? Well basically a little rain didn't hurt nobody. I've shot a billion weddings and it's rained at like 50% of them. I'm up for going out in whatever you're up for going out in. But of course we aren't going to head to the muddiest patch if it's wet!

should we book second shooter?

I would say that 3/4s of the weddings I shoot add a second shooter. I can easily shoot your wedding on my own but having a second shooter actually takes some responsibility away from me and I can do more of the things I do best while my second shooter is getting all the candid and detail photos.

we've seen photos on pinterest and at our venue we want to recreate!

I'm all up for receiving some photos that my couples love! However I can't work off a shot list or recreate images from other photographers as it's not my style. Couples book me for my particular style and trust me to create what I do! However let me know your thoughts and I can try to put my own spin on it. Even better send me photos that I've already done at weddings myself.

If there are any questions you have but I haven't answered here please get in touch! I'd love to meet up for a coffee or a beer and chat about how awesome your wedding is going to be and if I can fit into your day.
