Associate Photographers


Associate photographers are photographers who work under other photographers brands. Simply put, you deal with the main photographer in terms of communication, admin, preparations and editing, and the associate photographer photographs your day. This can be beneficial in a few ways including budget, editing styles and a heavy guidance from the main photographer.

Meet Josh.


Josh is a 28 year old and raised in Lumphanan, he was gifted his first camera at the age of 11 by his parents and never looked back.


His journey began in 2012 when he created a Facebook page to share his work with family and friends. Diving straight into the deep end, he photographed his first wedding in 2016 at just 19 years old. Since then, he’s been capturing life’s moments professionally for around 10 years, loving every second of it.


When he’s not behind the camera, he and his wife Amy head off in their tentbox and escape to the hills. They share a love for travel, with adventures taking them as far as Cape Town and Marrakesh. When they’re not exploring or travelling, they enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and binge watching Netflix together.

Why an associate?

It's simple really. I can't be in two places at once. If I'm booked then I'll recommend booking with Josh. I still deal with everything such as communication, preparations, advice and guidance and you'll deal with me after your wedding in terms of editing your images and delivery.

Of course you can. Josh would be more than happy to jump on a call with you and he will also join us on the final call before your wedding.

Is Josh experienced?

Absolutely! I can't think of anyone else I'd have working under my brand than Josh. We have been colleagues in the industry for years and more importantly friends for just as long! He's been second shooting me at weddings for a long time and is now taking the next step to shooting his own weddings for me.
