My Approach
As a documentary wedding photographer, my approach is to capture all the candid, unscripted moments that happen throughout your big day. I believe that weddings are meant to be relaxed and enjoyable, and my goal is to reflect that in my photography.
I strive to blend in with your guests and capture the laughter, tears, and all the little moments that make your wedding day so special. From the emotional first look to the silly dance moves on the dance floor, I am there to document it all.
My style is unobtrusive, allowing your day to unfold naturally, and creating a beautiful story that you can cherish for years to come. I want to capture the real, raw emotions and candid moments that make your wedding day unique.
I believe that weddings are all about having fun, and I aim to make sure that my clients feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. With a relaxed, laid back approach, I can help to put you at ease and create images that truly reflect the joy and happiness of your day.

Elopement/micro wedding
Sometimes you want something just a little smaller. Maybe you have a mid week wedding for a couple of hours like a micro wedding. I charge £250ph with a min of 2hrs hire. This also includes the digital files and online gallery.

second shooter
second shooters are awesome. the ones i use are worth their weight in gold. just as fun and chilled as me! they'll be the true candid ninjas! getting that shots no one else can see, not even me! i would 100% recommend having a second shooter for sure!
boomerang booth
this is an alternative photo booth to the standard huge ones people hire! it sits on a little lovely wooden tripod and takes boomerangs as well as still photos. guests can send the content immediately to themselves too!
pre wedding shoot
a bit nervous about being in front of the camera? this is definitely a good shout. it'll get rid of any preconceived ideas you have and you'll realise being photographed can actually be fun!
extended evening coverage
if you want party party photos then this is for you! the evening coverage goes on until the buffet and I get all the dirty dancing photos on the dance floor! I'll get you some black mail content of your guests!
We are the chandler bings of the world!
Don't worry about this! It's common that couples aren't massive fans of being photographed! My main job is to make you guys feel comfortable in front of the camera plus pretty much all my shots are natural any way! But I'll make sure you won't feel awkward being photographed!
When will we get our photos?
I'll have them to you within 6-8 weeks after your wedding, sooner if I can! But I can often have 4/5 weddings to edit in a que!
Can we meet before booking?
Yes please! I can meet you in person for a coffee or some beers! Or alternatively I'd be more than happy to Zoom call!
Do you do group photos?
Yes! 8-10 group photos of your immediate family! This could take 20-30 mins depending on the cooperation of your guests!
What if it's a typical Scottish day?
So what if it rains, snows, blas a hooley, is sunny, there's a tornado? Well basically a little rain didn't hurt nobody. I've shot a billion weddings and it's rained at like 50% of them. I'm up for going out in whatever you're up for going out in. But of course we aren't going to head to the muddiest patch if it's wet!
Are there any hidden extras?
Something to keep me going - A nice hot meal is appreciated when you sit down for yours. Of course you won't be cooking it yourself, but just mention it to the venue/caterers and they'll take care of the rest. Often there isn't anywhere nearby to run and grab something.
Travel - If I can drive it, then it's included (within reason, I'd say no more than 4hrs driving within the day)
If it's an early or late start then anywhere nice and warm and secure if fine for me.
If there's a flight included, then that will be added to the cost alongside accommodation.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Aberdeen, Scotland and will travel wherever you need me! I've photographed in Canada before!
How many pictures will we receive?
At least 500 for a full day
How do we book and how do we pay?
I take a non refundable £500 booking fee and there are terms and conditions to sign too. 50% of your remainder is due 6 months before your wedding and 50% of the remainder is due 6 weeks before your wedding.
How long will you be there?
I can be there from bridal prep to the dancing depending on what you want!
Should we book second shooter?
I would say that 3/4s of the weddings I shoot add a second shooter. I can easily shoot your wedding on my own but having a second shooter actually takes some responsibility away from me and I can do more of the things I do best while my second shooter is getting all the candid and detail photos.
can you hold a date for us?
Short answer, no. It's hard to hold dates back when other couples are also interested in the date. The date is only booked upon the payment of the non refundable booking fee, signed terms and conditions and a completed booking fee.
That said I'll always keep couples in the know if another couple are interested in the same date and where they are in the booking process.
